Howth Library | Painting Contractors Dublin
In December we were delighted to secured a commercial painting project with Fingal County Council to repaint the interior and exterior of Howth Library including the painting of the timber shelving that hundreds of books sit on.
This project was right up our street as we specialise in repainting existing commercial and industrial buildings.
The project presented many challenges and required an experienced commercial panting contractor to execute the work. The challenges the project presented included:
The work needed to be completed within a short space of time
The library was to remain in use as a click and collect library while works were taking place
There were lots of logistical challenges too
How did we overcome the challenges?
We placed a good team of painters on the project, extended our normal working hours and completed some work out of normal hours
We developed a plan with librarians and broke the project up into phases. We tackled and completed each phase and then moved onto the next phase
There were hundreds of books to move. Between our team and the team in the library we successfully managed to work together to achieve a successful outcome
Overall the project was completed on schedule and to a very high standard leaving a very happy client!
